Guimbal SKMF Basketball League

The date is June 26,2010.

The final game of the Guimbal Basketball League sponsred by the SKMF.
The game is between NANGA and SRL.
It was an intense gameat first NANGA was leading up until the 3rd quarter.
There were some pionts that SRL had gained and had a higher score than NANGA, but everytime they would score, NANGA would then follow.


At the second half, people were very attached to the game. 
Screaming of fans, and cheering for their team.
Truly, in this activity I can see that we Filipinos love watching basketball and playing it.
It is in our blood and a tradition to do it.
Because it has been a part of our life.

♥ Another new school ♥

Well another school year is approaching and I'm turning into a Junior! in my new school: GNHS.
The school is near to my house, and in my hometown. This school is my 8th school. WOw! I've transferred so many schools, and I hope this will be last one in high school because sometimes it's hard to adjust, with the new surroundings and new set of friends and classmates to meet. But I got used to it. Anyway, as I enter the gates of my new school, it was June 15, at around 7am, as I entered, there were so many students and I was amazed just how the place was. It was so WIDE!!... I really love the field. As I went to my class/ section. I belonged to 3-platinum, the star section of the regular class. At first, I thought this would be another adjustment, becuase another set of classmates but I didn't mind it. But instead, the older students were very nice, they were very friendly yo me, and we instantly click! :)
As we enter, our classroom, Room 31! they were still very friendly to me. They were all saying hi! to me and greeted me with a smile, I ended my morning with saying to myself maybe this isn't so bad after all. As I went back in  the afternoon, we already had classes, and there I got to know them. They were amazing and fun to be with. I really enjoyed my first day. And I never realized that I had just known tthem for just hours, 'cuz it felt like I've know them for almost a year.

On my second day, it was still the same, funny and enjoyable. I ended the day with more people I had known. And on this last day of the first week of classes, now I can say that this school year would be fun. Despite that I am separated from my former classmates but now I do have new classmate to share my last 2 years in high school.
I'm excited for the next few months I will have with 3- PLATINUM! :) 

♥ A summer to remember ♥

       My summer started the day after the last day of school. It wasn't that SUMMER ish!?. I was planning summer infront of the computer doing Facebook and Twitter, but it was far from that. A week had passed since my summer officially started. Me and my friends planned to go swimming and a little bonding before we had our own separate summer vacas. My mother and my aunt suggested that I would join the Bantayan Festival (guimbal,iloilo), so I said yes beacuse I was eager to dance again, meet new people and to perfrom infront of an audience. As I was practicing for the competition, there I discovered many things, like I had many relatives in our town. I had met new aquaintances and had gained friends. Though in the middle part of it, I wanted to give up because for me it was useless. But then I had to complete my challenge and not to give up easily. Just be strong. Many had already happened in our tribe but then at last we had performed our best. Although we didn't win as champions, at least we did our best and had perdormed well. After the days of intenese practice, it finally ended, but it didn't stopme from being with my friends. I had found out that it was kind of boring staying at home and doing nothing. Me and my tribe mates are still communicating, even though several weeks had passed. One time me and some of my tribe mates went to a little barangay to "PAMISTA", it was tiring but fun. We were like crazy people, wandering around but all in all it was an awesome experience. Weeks had passed , I got bored at the house. Checking Facebook can sometimes be boring, so I started playing badminton. And I also had summer dance classes but had no effect. So i was stuck watching TV. Then I tried playing my guitar and now I had known more  songs than before, I practiced everyday to perfect it. Also this summer some of my wishes had come true like, I now owned a a jersey and a jacket from my favorite team in the University Athletic Association of the Phils. This summer had taught me, to boost  myself-confidence, to be more open. Because now, I had gained friends, and had perform my best. Through everything that I had been through, it was all in all tough and unforgettable memories. This I could say is one of my unforgettable summer of my life. This indeed a summer to remember forever.
